Globe Midwest was honored to sponsor and attend the 2026 Spark of Hope Tribute Gala, hosted by Life Directions at the GM Wintergarden in Detroit. Representing the firm was Stuart Dorf, Executive Vice President of Globe Midwest, who joined business leaders, community advocates, and supporters united by a shared commitment to uplifting youth across Southeast Michigan.

A Night Celebrating Detroit's Future

The Spark of Hope Tribute Gala is one of Detroit's signature annual fundraising events. Since its founding in 1973, Life Directions has reached more than 180,000 young people through mentorship, leadership development, and educational programming — and the gala serves as the cornerstone event that funds this critical work.

This year's gathering was a powerful reminder of what's possible when community leaders rally behind a common purpose: giving Detroit's youth the tools, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive.

Honoring Leaders Who Make a Difference

The 2026 gala recognized two individuals whose work has made a measurable impact on the Detroit region:

Claude Molinari, President & CEO of Visit Detroit, was honored for his leadership in promoting Detroit as a world-class destination and driving economic vitality throughout the region.

Ryan Sullivan, President & CEO of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, was recognized for his transformative work in revitalizing Detroit's riverfront into a vibrant, accessible public space for all residents.

Globe Midwest extends its sincere congratulations to both honorees on this well-deserved recognition.

Globe Midwest's Commitment to Southeast Michigan

As a Michigan-based public adjusting firm, Globe Midwest has always believed that strong communities are built through partnership, mentorship, and investment in people — especially the next generation.

Stuart Dorf's attendance at the Spark of Hope Gala reflects that commitment firsthand. Supporting events like this one is part of how Globe Midwest shows up for the Detroit community — not just as a business, but as a neighbor and partner invested in the region's future.

We are proud to stand alongside the leaders, advocates, and donors who make Life Directions' mission possible — and we look forward to continuing to invest in the future of Southeast Michigan.
