On Friday March 1st 2019, Globe Midwest Adjusters International was proud to support Beyond Basics,
a nonprofit literacy organization. Globe Midwest’s SVP of Business Development, Stuart Dorf and
National Sales Manager, Cathy Karaoglan attended a gala in honor of the organization’s 20 th Anniversary
at the Detroit Athletic Club in Detroit, Michigan.

Dorf and Karaoglan joined other local industry leaders in celebration and support of Beyond Basics
which has been providing quality reading, tutoring, and supplemental programs – writing, art,
mentoring, and partnerships – for students in grades Pre-K through 12 in Detroit public schools since
2002. “We are honored to represent Globe Midwest and to honor Pamela Good and the incredible work
she and Beyond Basics do every day in Detroit Schools” commented Dorf.
