Globe Midwest Regional Vice President, Leonard Cradit, and Executive Vice President, Stuart Dorf, JD, CPAU, recently participated in the MIPIA 9th Annual UnConvention, held at the Park Place Hotel and Conference Center, in Traverse City, MI. The event commenced with registration at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in The Gallery, soon followed by an insightful off-site CE Class titled "Generations, Ethics and the Workplace," masterfully delivered by Tami Pohl and West Bend at North Bar. The day concluded on a high note with a Welcome Reception at 6:00 pm at The Gallery and a memorable dinner and entertainment session at the Top of the Park.

The subsequent day, Thursday, was filled with activities, initiating with an early breakfast at 7:30 am. Participants were treated to a series of engaging CE classes, notably "Active Shooter, A Primer" presented by Arlington/Roe, and "Emerging Issues Impacting Insurance Agents" by Zausmer and The Law Offices of Ronald M Sangster. The day continued with an Awards Lunch, including a medley of guest speakers, awards, and the latest updates from the industry. In the evening, Young Insurance Professionals (YIPs) hosted a Poker Run in downtown, while attendees eagerly awaited the "Cooler of Cheer" raffle draw. The convention also featured the SMART IT-sponsored hospitality suite each evening, offering attendees a relaxed setting for networking and discussions.
